Query alignment with title and meta description

When a query drives meaningful traffic to a page but its wording is absent from the title and meta description, your snippet may look generic relative to that intent. We flag high-value queries missing from those fields.

What we look for

Using stored Search Console rows for the URL, we identify priority queries and check whether their terms appear in the crawled title or meta description text (rules and thresholds are implementation-defined).

What to do

Refresh the title and description so they reflect the queries you want this URL to win—naturally and accurately. Test snippets in Search Console’s preview tools where available.

Technical details

Requires GSC data joined to crawled metadata. Google may still rewrite snippets. See How we find possibilities.
