Article JSON-LD

Article schema describes a single editorial URL: headline, URL, dates, image, author, and publisher. Use it on blog posts, guides, and news pages where the content is clearly an article.

What SEO Perception prefills

When you open the JSON-LD generator from a No structured data possibility, we prefill fields we already crawled: title, URL, Open Graph image, and content dates when we found them.

Author name is prefilled only when we found a proven signal: rel=author, meta name="author", or author in existing JSON-LD. We never guess an author name.

rel=author is related but different

A rel=author link is HTML trust markup. Article author in JSON-LD is structured data. Both can help on editorial pages. See rel=author on editorial pages.

Publisher from organization settings

If you saved organization settings on the website, the generator can add a publisher Organization block to Article JSON-LD. See Organization JSON-LD.

SEO Perception

We take all the dry, technical SEO data nobody wants to read, connect the dots with AI and decades of SEO expertise, and show you the fixes that matter most plus the opportunities with the biggest upside.
