Time for a recrawl? banner
You may see a blue recommendation banner below a website row on /dashboard that says
Time for a recrawl?. This is a helpful prompt, not an automatic action. It appears
when your recent SEO fixes suggest your crawl snapshot may be behind your latest improvements.

What this banner means
The recommendation is a timing hint: if you have already implemented several improvements, a manual recrawl can help SEO Perception verify those changes sooner. The banner itself does not start crawling.
When it appears
The banner appears only when all of these conditions are true for that website:
- You resolved several possibilities recently.
- A crawl is not already in progress.
- Your plan's manual recrawl cooldown has elapsed.
Why it may not appear
You can still need a recrawl even when the banner is not visible. Common reasons:
- You are still within cooldown for Recrawl site.
- A crawl is already active.
- Not enough possibilities were marked resolved recently.
- You dismissed the banner in this browser earlier.
What Dismiss does (and does not do)
Dismiss only hides this recommendation locally in your current browser for that website. It does not change crawl scheduling, queue state, or account-level behavior.
If you want to see it again, open the workspace in another browser or clear site data for
seoperception.com in your current browser.
Quick decision guide
- Banner visible + Recrawl site enabled: run a recrawl now if you want faster validation of recent fixes.
- Banner not visible: check crawl status and cooldown timing before expecting this recommendation.
- Recrawl site disabled: wait for cooldown to expire or for an active crawl to finish, then try again.
- Banner dismissed by mistake: clear browser site data or use another browser profile to restore local visibility.
